Charlie loves being in our classroom, but he gets a little bored. Being an adventurous young cub he is curious about the world outside Room 11. It's up to you to introduce him to new adventures and life outside Little Chico Creek Elementary School. Our everyday activities are adventures to Charlie! You will need to chronicle all of the fun you have with Charlie in his journal as you definitely want to remember everything he does with you!
Class Mascot Writing
Congratulations! If you are reading this you have been given a very important responsibility. You are taking care of our class mascot, Charlie. As you know Charlie is a very special cheetah cub and he needs you to take very good care of him. He is especially easy to take care of because he doesn't need to be fed, walked or he never needs to go out in the middle of the night! Writing in Charlie's Journal
One of the writing entries should be from your point of view. Tell what you did with Charlie. Did you take Charlie to your soccer practice, to the park, or did you read him a story? Write whatever you want to share with the class. Sign your name to the entry.
You also need at least one entry from Charlie's point of view. Put yourself in his place, an adventurous young cheetah cub experiencing all the wonders of the world for the first time. Through Charlie's eyes, and in Charlie's voice tell us about something that you did together. Sign Charlie's name to his entry.
Take at least one picture of you and Charlie together. Glue picture into the journal. If you do not have a camera, draw a picture of what you and Charlie did.
What Can I Do With Charlie? Hang out with Charlie at home! Take Charlie places with you! Keep Charlie nearby when you do your favorite activities Some places you might take him: around your home. He will love being a member of your
restaurant family while you have him, so show him a good time!
